As An Individual

1. I’m organising a fundraising event which will help support the Simon Communities.

2. I’m making a donation

3. I’m volunteering with my local Simon Community, if you would like to find out more about volunteering click here

4. I’m raising the issue of homelessness with the local TD’s, public representatives and friends and family.

5. I’ll work to ensure that anyone who has become homeless in your area is welcomed into the community and is not subjected to discrimination.

6. I’ll get informed information about homelessness in Ireland. Log onto simon.ie for more.

7. I will remember that people who are homeless are really no different to anybody else and deserve the same respect and dignity.

In The Workplace

1. I’m getting involved in one of the Simon Communities Corporate Social responsibilities (CSR) programmes

2. I’m going to raise awareness of the issues around homelessness in my work place

3. I’ll organised a fundraising event at work e.g. a coffee morning, a cake sale, a casual clothes to work day

4. I will make the Simon Communities my charity of choice

5. I will organise a ‘ Stock the shops’ collection day get everyone in work to bring any unwanted birthday and Christmas presents or clothes to donate to Simon

6. I will organise a toiletry collection for the people who use the Simon services, asking everyone in work to bring in some toiletries which will then go directly to the people who use Simon services and help us reduce our costs.

7. Instead of sending Christmas cards or gifts this Charismas I will donate to Simon. In recognition of your generosity, Simon will extend your company's Christmas greetings to your clients, colleagues and suppliers via an announcement in The Irish Times before Christmas.
